When people ask me "What was your favorite game when you were a kid?", I always reply "A Wonderful Life". There are few games that I have sunk as many hours in, as this game. The farming, animals, characters, and all the small mysteries, made this game so good. I even bought a small TV, so I could play outside in the sun.
Now, we are finally getting a remake of the game, and I am very excited to dive in once more. The game was released as "Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life", but the remake is called "Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life".

Beautiful cover!! Your performance of all the different instruments is wonderfully done! Very accurate to the original, too! This song is so peaceful to listen to. I'd love to see you make a cover of the title theme from Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life! (The original one from GameCube, not the remake.) That's one of my favorite songs in the whole franchise! I'm sure you would do an amazing job!

I just looked up the song to show my boyfriend what I grew up listening to. Saw your cover, its amazing. Brings back so many memories, it almost makes me sad. Thats when my life was so calm and easy, i remember just laying on the floor in the living room with my best friend taking turns playing this game and we would fall asleep right there, listening to this tune. I remember waking up just to grab the controller and start playing again. 😂 I was udderly obsessed and I actually beat it once but never got any further any time I tried to play after.

Thanks! I want to avoid using samples on this channel, so I am forced to practice and be creative. Oh, I didn’t make them myself, but the sandblocks should be pretty easy to make. Would be fun to try to make something myself

@@Haakond That's a very cool project! I use only samples myself...But I do love that good old acoustic soundscape. The sandblocks are a very nice touch anyway, very interesting to see how you use instruments and "things that make sound" to get the sound you're after. As long as it sounds good I guess there are no rules... When using samples one is a bit limited to thinking about (and using) the samples one have available. Although I do have a microphone and some instruments so maybe one day I'll add some good old instruments to some of my tracks too. That would be a very nice project I think. Anyway, thanks for sharing! Looking forward to more acoustic music from you! 🙂

No shame in using samples! I use that mostly for my commissions, so I want my KZbin channel to be a bit different. Exactly. There are a million other ways to play an instrument, that the samples are not able to. You should try to record, it is fun to add into the music! Thanks, looking forward to you next cover too

Hi! Yeah, a nylon stringed guitar would fit this well (as I used for the main melody here). I also used that and an acoustic for the chords
