Watching this on the replay. Love the discussion about sewing machines. I have an older Viking and Bernina sewing machine and recently purchased the Brother Luminaire 3. I love it. I've found that whatever machine you have it's important to take the time to learn your way around your machine.

Those advent boxes are such a gimmick ! Though it is fun to OPEN a little thing each day, it really isn't worth it in the long run. Thanks for sharing ! Have a great weekend.. Sean, 'Cranky Kangaroo' has an excellent video about using your fabrics for a LEGIT KIT. I really think that would help you. It helped me with a small project I was working on. She focuses on "VALUES" .

Hi Sean and Fallon…. I have to say Fallon you have Come such a long way in your quilting journey! The products that you and your husband produce our fantastic and I love that you stand by them. And Sean I could have so much fun in your fabric stash!!! lol I love Tigger! When I first attempted paper piecing, I absolutely hated it. I could not get that mirror image thing in my brain. I did more ripping than sewing, and it was so hard for me. That was over a year ago. Now paper piecing is my go to ….I love it!! I just purchased a Judy Niedermeyer pattern but I haven’t opened it yet. it looks scary and complicated but I am definitely into it. Legit Kits are my favorite! They also stand by their product and are very helpful. I may enter the Vortexx in a quilt show next year. Great interview!

G'day Marie! Im so impressed by Fallon too and how much her channel has grown. And im a huge fan of their products too. Hoping to be able to use the trimlocks soon. I am lucky to have a nice fabric stash. Im hoping that i enjoy the Legit Kit dragon. I have enjoyed making the trinkets by Allison Glass and hope to put together a small wall hanging soon. I would love to see you enter Vortex into a show soon.

I missed y'all live this morning, but have been enjoying listening while in my sewing space. Sean, I buy bobbins for my Bernina at the MAQF as there is usually a discount at the local booth.

Hi Sheila. That's where i got the last set of bobbins a year or so ago. I probably should have gotten more but i also bought the ruler foot that was almost $100 even with the discount so reluctant to spend too much more. The discount is nice there.

G'day Barb. Its been lovely having the boys. Lorenzo leaves on Thursday and Simon leaves 2 weeks later. It has been nice being able to share their adventures and images on the channel. The previous kids chose not to be featured online but it was nice that both boys agreed without hesitation. Im hoping the next two that arrive in August are also ok with being on clips.
