5495.00 for a boring watch with a run of the mill ETA movement. I love minimalist dials, but there are plenty of others to be found at the same or better prices that are a lot more interesting than this.

Something is amiss with the design of this watch. The proportions of the face just don't do it for me.

Likewise, too much empty space on the dial. I would have also preferred to see 3,6,9 digits as well instead of markers.

I totally understand where you're coming from. We knew when we designed this one that the extremely austere dial would alienate some, but having made some relatively whimsical pilot's watches with Damasko, we wanted to get really back to basics and produce something that was as close to a period-correct tool watch as we could. That meant removing the day and date complications (surprisingly complex because we didn't want to leave the crown positions in the movement, so this is actually a little deeper than just not cutting windows in the dial) and also removed as much writing as we could get away with.

Timeless Luxury Watches I agree ... good to work around the 2nd position of crown when no day date. I think that detail is important.

Their fake military history is nauseating. They were founded in 2002 and price their pieces way out of reach for military personnel. The Disney brand has more military/aviation credentials than Bremont and they are probably more honest about where their products are made too.

Boring and fake vintage looking. I"m not a fan of vintage watches but I respect them. However I despise all these vintage inspired designs that make modern watches look old. Much easier than making them look classic isn't it? I hate faux vintage, it stinks.
