So sweet. I have to say that your floss tube was the first flosstube I came across since I restarted my cross stitch frenzy after 30 years. You are my absolute favorite floss tube of all the very many that I watch. I love so many others as well, but as Brenda say: "I love, love, love" yours the best. Thank you so very much for all your joy and enthusiasm for cross stitch, for other floss tubers and stitchers, and all your inspiration. I have gotten so many of the charts you have spoken of( and many you haven't as well...)😊. Thank you so much for all that you give to others. Oh Laura- I still have to get AKGIT. Hello ladies. Thank you for another entertaining flosstube. I’m so glad you had a great time at your retreat. Regarding the paper piece project you received I think I might have a trick that would make it easier to work on. I recently saw another flosstuber who enjoys working on perforated paper and gave this tip. You’ll want to cut the paper down to the necessary size and then stitch scrap linen to each side of the paper. By adding fabric to the sides you now can put the project in a hoop to stitch without causing wear and tear to the paper. The other trick is to get an embroidery frame and attach the paper to the edges with tacks. Good luck completing the project however you choose to work on it. I look forward to seeing it completed someday.

Oh..you ladies are so funny! There isn’t a more enjoyable way to spend my evening when I just can’t stitch anymore. Question: you had a discussion on the topic of houses in cross stitch patterns. My question is does anyone know what the keys represent on many samplers? I have tried to investigate but can’t seem to find out what the keys represent. Please keep your floss tubes coming as I always look forward to the next one. Thank you for making all stitchers smile!

Great video-someday I’d like to make it to NY-I bought the Parsons sampler kit and fell in LOVE with FlowerThreads 😊. So I ordered one of every color plus the grays because they are a dream and I’m OLD (63) and my MS hands sometimes like 28-32 counts the best plus I think the colors are kind of old fashioned or grayed down-idk what the term is but the hue and the sheen is simply lovely so-I’m hooked because of Shelley and you, Brenda ❤❤Love your videos-thanks for putting so much work into showing us places where some of us will probably not ever get to-I love you for that❤❤❤

Great that Brenda got some Sheffield scissors. Sheffield is not too far from where I live and a great many of my maternal ancestors worked in the Sheffield steel industry as scissor grinders and cutlers, in the 1800s. When HATS reproduced Mary Ann Ragg (Sheffield sampler) I was so excited to stitch that as my 3x g/grandma was born Ann Wragg was just 3yrs older than Mary Ann and living very close by. Still hoping for a connection in my family tree! I ordered the same pair of scissors to celebrate working on that sampler - I just had to! Great video.

Very fun floss tube!! Brenda I have stitched and framed My Little Sampler and I love it except the ghostie letters on the Upper right. If I had a do over I’d make them darker.

I didn’t think I would ever choose a sampler. But you both did it! I just ordered Ann Roberts The Land of My Fathers. And now I’m looking for a sampler in Red thread. BTW-Laura-no more Tab soda is a travesty! My drink since I was little! When they said it was no more I went to every store and bought all they had! Keep making those Flosstubes. Love you both.

I enjoyed your recap of the retreat so much! Sounds like you had nothing but fun! I need to go to Hobby House! I checked and I am only 4 hours and 17 minutes away. Next video could Brenda show the storage she bought from IKEA? I did finally find a source to get some Piecemakers 28 needles. Thanks for sharing your retreat adventures. Sounds like such a wonderful time. So glad you get to go to these. I’m also amazed at all the stash many you tubers are able to buy. Supplies are not cheap so I always am blown away by all the things are shown that have been acquired. Got any tips on how you do this? Lol. I’d like to get “happy mail” too. Thank you Linda!!!!! I don't know if I have a tip per se....I know that at times my spending is out of control (probably all the time). I don't buy much in the way of jewelry, purses or clothing.....maybe you could set up a treat for yourself once a month to order something from an Etsy shop or Kitten Stitcher or Hobby House. Maybe a different place each month....would that be a realistic way to acquire some happy mail? Hope that helps!!!! Sending a lots of stitchy love to you!

It was such a hoot when you mentioned about how short Susan is and what a surprise that was. I met the 2 of you for the 1st time at Summer School this year and almost burst out in surprise because I had it all wrong. I totally thought you Brenda, were short, and that you Laura, were tall. I'm 5-7 and usually the tallest in the room. Bren from Fox and Rabbit was also a surprise. Isn't it amazing that even though we see you week after week, we still form preconceptions - it was a fun surprise!
