I love the intro of the song "Pickin up pieces"!! sounds awesome! Definitely Brenda K Starr has an enviable vocal record amplitude, maintaining her high notes without difficulty and demonstrates it by singing live. Thank you for this. I was in radio programming when Brenda emerged in the 1980s as well as Mariah in 1990. Brenda had great producers to her avail (Arthur Baker, Deodato) who brought out the best in her gifts. So glad Ms. Starr is still doing her thing and her voice has aged nicely.

What must Mariah do? Mariah is not mute, she was born with nodules and of she ddnt have tht condition she wus still sound prime Mariah, but she still sings. And Mariah had 100's of original songs tht went nr 1 before she even met Brenda, the songs she wrote in school, and after that. So sorry Brenda that your back up singer became the star she was destined for. Tommy did not make Mariah, as u shud take time to learn the story, she had a record deal, before Brenda gave Tommy the demo. Mariah was gone make it regardless. So Mariah is not affected in anyway.
