I know you wanna feed them and feel like some kind of saint who has this sacred bond with the creatures, but the fact is you’re ignoring the obvious. You’re acting like a child. Sometimes if you really care about something you have to leave it alone. What you’re doing is actively ignoring the truth in order to feel good in the moment. What children do. You can care about geese and wildlife generally, or you can care about a handful of geese, for a moment, until you go home and forget about it, not realizing that what you’ve done is actually bad for geese as a whole. So ask yourself, what is this really about. Is is about loving geese or wanting to feel good about feeding them because it’s fun for little kids and extremely stupid and lonely adults?
