Gratitude is the only secret. Be grateful for the good and the bad. Each of them is a valuable teacher.

I told my husband about the "clock" practice and he busted out with "ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR -- tell me what you're grateful for!" and now that is my mantra :)

Joy is a manifestation of Love, so it is an intrinsic aspect of our essential nature. Expressing gratitude opens our awareness to our inner Joy, which allows us to experience Joy even more. Through sharing our Joy with others, we can help open each other to experience the flow of Joy, which we all share in common.

Joy lways goes hand in hand with gratitude. With my husband and sons we went through good and hazardous times, but ALWAYS there was joy and gratitude. The joy of giving and sharing. The joy of loving. Truly not hard at all :-) Keep up the good work!

💟 Thank you so much for your heartfelt and inspiring words of Wisdom! And now, I will share something that my dear mom imparted to me many years ago when I was complaining about my life.... "Every morning that you can get up by yourself, tend to your own needs, and then go to work and earn for your own bread is a good day--even the 'bad' ones!" She then added, "For there are many who cannot." The self-evident truth of my mother's words has stayed with me to this very day....💟
