Super cool!! I want that supercharger set up for my 2010 Explorer 4x4. Should we replace the motor first I have 165K or supercharger now and replace motor when it goes?

That’s a sweet set up. I have the same 2010 Ford Sport Trac AWD Adrenaline in Red. Except mine is a 4.0 V6 cologne engine. Runs and drives amazing. Like new. Has currently 188,000 miles. I wish there was anything performance related for mine even though it’s just a V6. 😞🙏🙏🙏🙏💪💯

Yes Mustang GT 3V valve covers fit right on a 3V 4.6L Sport trac/explorer etc..

After the installation (stage2) what mpg can I expect from this kit? How long it takes for the whole installation average from start to finish? Do you disconnect the 4WD or how is that work? Im really interested, I just bought a 2008 Adrenalin, thank you.

Doug has had his on for about 70,000 miles and he says he is getting around 14/15 city ish and an absolute best on a road trip about 17. It takes us roughly 2 days to install.

This is my truck, Cesar. I picked up the truck and drove to Ohio, Louisiana, and then headed back toward Arizona. Based on the terrain I was encountering I got from 16mpg to 20mpg on the hiway. Around town I averaged 13-15mpg. Pretty much the same as before this install, as long as I keep my foot out of it. Once you summon the HP, all bets are off. It's a beast!! You certainly won't be disappointed!!

@@CesarHermosilloSVT03 I checked into a 5.0 swap. It would have been more than twice the money. It would have required a lot of engine compartment alterations as well. Brenspeed has been adding HP to 4.6 3V Fords for years. They've got this down pretty well.

I have a 3v 4.6 Sport Trac Limited. Just hit 92k miles.. do I need to do any internal work before supercharging to this power level?? I'm in Orlando, FL.

We run the factory drivetrain. We have ever since we started installing superchargers on these back in 2008.

More than one of your followers have asked about the AWD system on the Adrenalin. All other models of the Explorer and Sport Trac have switchable 4WD systems, the Adrenalin is not a switchable 4WD/AWD system?

The package spec is 520 HP at the crank, is the drive train loss really that high on these or was something amiss? Thanks in advance for a reply.

Yes it is 20-25% and 520 is rated on 93 octane so a little less on 91 but yes they have a pretty good loss.

Question. Why do most muscle cars come factory with twin screw superchargers Shelby , demon , hellcat, etc but not spoolie turbos? Also it seems like most of your videos feature turbo instead of superchargers. Are turbos more popular for some reason ?

I think you may possibly be confused. Almost 100% of my videos are superchargers not turbos, opposite of what you said. Production cars use TVS not twin screw. So you are correct that shelby, demon, hellcat are boosted via supercharger not turbo but its is TVS design from eaton. Turbo's are not more popular for aftermarket on street cars. Do they have an after market exhaust header that fits these trucks? I was hoping to find some long tube headers but wasnt surewhere to start or if i should have a custon set made? Do yall make a set?

No there is a steering shaft clearance issue as well as strut tower clearance. So... nobody makes them.

Yes most of them are. We disable all wheel drive when on the dyno but yes you retain that with the package once the dyno is complete.

We remove the front driveshaft on the dyno.

Not a dumb question. Actually most of the ones we do are that exact model. We just remove the front drive shaft when on the dyno then put it back in.
