It's sweet that Brent actually checks Sophie's pulse after she gets crushed. I know that just sounds like basic human decency, but so many cartoons with the eccentric main character just make the straightman a sociopath who wants them dead for some reason, so this is kinda refreshing lol.

Brent checking Sophie for a pulse and being genuinely worried proves that he cares about her and truly appreciates her company. I really like that, it’s a small detail in a funny cartoon that goes a long way with showing a character’s soft side.
