I just had the honor of seeing Brent Cobb in concert in Maryland. He is the real deal! He is a storyteller. It felt like going to the Grande ol' Opry. Exact same, I stumbled on this song as someone who usually loathes country and instantly loved it. If all country music had lyrics and feelings like this instead of rich dudes LARP'ing as poor people and using the same 3 chords and boring lyrics I would be a huge fan of the genre.
