Amazing! Not only can I appreciate the complexity of the song, but the foot cam is a great addition allowing us to see how much footwork is actually happening. Kudos

Thanks dude :) Haven't toured with the left-side ride yet but otherwise I've been ok at most venues, except for the dreaded 'cymbal-stand drift' off the edge haha.

Hey man, I have them set up as longboards, with spring tension and beater height maxed. Beater angle is roughly factory, with beater stroke set to 'power' and direct link set to 'light'. Hope this helps!

I hope Orbin sees this video! He'd be proud. I like how you include notes in the description like he does too. Great playing!

Anyone who plays drums understands how sick this is!! I can tell you practice a lot and have a passion for sickdrumming :)
@MrOtisotis12 жыл бұрын
I like how you did this, theres a certain point inbetween the camera angle changes and high production that isnt not even about the instrument playing, your drumming speaks for itself.

Wow this is great drumming and a sweet song!

Varies, but in this video they were Vic Firth MS2. I usually switch between them, the Hammers (SRH2?) or Magnums (MS4).

Gaff/Duct tape is your new best friend. I've seen a few guys make cymbal stand foot-holder slots out of tape and maybe cardboard attached to their drum carpets. I sometimes have trouble but my stuff is spaced out more than usual, being 6'3" probably has something to do with it, ha.

@christaylordrums12 жыл бұрын
Solid stuff man! You don't see a lot of Orbin-ish ambidextrous setups like this. I like the snare run at 2:33... Now, do you have any trouble fitting on drum risers? ;)

What is that clamp on the second hi-hat stand? Rudy and orbin both use it, is it to keep that stand in place? or for a bass drum trigger?
@BrentRodgersDrums10 жыл бұрын
Yep, it's a Pearl clamp used to hold the stand to the bass drum. I believe HA-100 is the model number.
