I'm Gabriel, and I'm 6'3" 225 lb, successfully bulked to 250lb and then cut back down. The reason I asked this question was because I wanted others to be aware just how crucial diet is in order to make the gains in the gym, and as a result, on the mound. Generally, I shot for 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight a day. Generally, I eat 4-6 meals a day with at least 30 grams of protein and 40-50 grams of carbs per meal, and also a protein shake or two in between. I hope this video brings to light just how important it is. Along with gaining weight and strength, watching your videos over the last year, Brent, and learning how to utilize my legs better and get better shoulder-hip separation I was able to go from topping at 91 mph when I was only 185 lb to now hitting 97 mph a month ago at a Braves tryout. So thank you for that, and anyone who is reading this, I totally recommend watching all of Brent's videos.

I’m a HS senior so I still live with my parents. We eat steak a decent amount... I’m assuming that isn’t a great “lean meat”. Is there an alternative that is as easy as steak that I could recommend for myself and my family? Thanks
