Bret Hart made wrestling reach the top at that time... with evidence, look at the views, how after his damned injury and his retirement.. it was about 5.5 million.. and it became 4.9 instantly and then took a downward path since then.. even until the time of John Cena and Edge and Undertaker did not pass Certificates barrier 3.9 million..

@Holy Edge wrote about it in his book that came out in 2005....so I knew about then. He also talked about it several times on his pod cast with Jay, and in other interviews. I am 59 years old, and I have been a wrestling fan for 54 of those years. Started watching at age 5, at my grandma's knee, and haven't stopped!

@Holy Some of it. I don't just watch WWE.... I watch anything and everything I can, around the world. But, right now, the WWE and AEW, the two biggest, are going through some changes. It happens every few years or so..... it drops in quality, the bottoms out, and then climbs up again. I wish it would not be so scripted. Even now you can tell the difference. Edge "writes" his own promos, and delivers, where as a lot of the newer guys, can't deliver a promo unless every word is written in a script. Guys like Edge, Jericho, the Rock, and a very few others.... creative can just say to them, here is the idea, this is how we want the match to end..... and they can just deliver a promo off the top of their heads, making more real and emotional....than the guys who just memorize lines from a sheet of paper. Did that make sense?
