Nice podcast - Deviancy turning to normalcy! 1. Why this is happening- why the society is accepting it - why our moral values have degenerated? The simple answer is "Greed". I am not against capitalism or making money, but I am for earning an honest living. Also, sometimes having too much wealth corrupts people morally. The current generation has to set an example for the future generation. It's a responsibility. If young people, see successful people without moral values they are just going to imitate it, and the society will go on a downward spiral. 2. Also, the fight between extreme right and extreme left will cost this country. With an immoral and revengeful person as our to-be-president, we are already standing on a cliff. 3. Trump's policies are NOT based on any logic but purely on revenge.

Departments, divisions and bureaus throughout the country rely on public input; give and take between professionals and the business community; and other conversations to set rules and regulations for industry, health, environment, agriculture, etc. Outside of local government, the administrative state is one of the last bastions of democracy in the United States. The point of the picks is to destroy this form of democracy because Trumpers despise democracy in all its forms. But I guess, Stephens' interpretation works too.

I suspect the choosing days are coming to an end. I know this is the simple version but if Trump has worked out how to feed 49% of the population to 51% regards assets, values, power, control, key jobs, contracts etc. Then he could be in power for a long time. When there is evidence concerning a man or a woman predator, it should be judged by a jury of peers. The standard for one of the highest positions in the country, however, must be much higher. They must be beholden to constitutional law, and at least vaguely taking the actions of a moral human being.
