Best ten minutes of KZbin drum lessons this week. I’ve been watching you more and more, Brett, but here’s my first comment: your drumming skills are great and your teaching skills are better and better with each post. This lesson is particularly outstanding; brilliant teaching, perfect pacing, lean ratio of talking to playing, and yet, not _too_ lean. Just enough words, and just enough drumming, with helpful examples at a correct range of tempos. Keep up the fine work, sir. I appreciate your efforts. yussef dayes’s “Turquoise Galaxy” is another one people might want to try as well as the other examples here. fast tempo + plenty of open hi hats and rolls in the main groove
