Steve Madden is the coolest person. I got to meet him at a publicity event when I was 15. He asked one of his models to pull me out of the crowd and gifted me my first pair of heels. He said hi to me gave me a shirt with his favorite slogan "Progress not Perfection" and told me to look around and pick my favorite of his shoes and that it was his gift to me. I still have the picture and the heels. Saving them now to gift to my daughter when she turns 13. Sweetest guy!

When you have had everything and you have money, the concept of happiness is different for those of us who have not had money and we dream about it every day.

Kanye said it best ‘having money isn’t everything but not having it is’. Money is undeniably important but there’s a certain cut off point where you can do everything you want to do and more money is meaningless

For some people, they do hold onto the belief that money can buy happiness...but not for too long. Everything in this world is temporary, and it can be difficult to accept it.

This is a very inspirational episode, you are awesome to be able to interview such a famous person! You have a sentence that impresses me, you are right, happiness truly can only come from within! And that sentence echoes what Steve said, money can't buy happiness and love, which means money can't buy everything! You did a really great job, thanks a lot for sharing!👍😄👏

There’s a certain line in how much you make that’s different for everybody that, once you make more than the line, your life will go downhill. Too much money is just as bad as too little. The perfect amount is not having to worry about bills but also not having the greed to want more on top of your great wealth
@irmakalember3709 Жыл бұрын
