MSN. First of all. Great playing. Love it..I've been doing it 43 years and to hear TASTEFUL playing. With nice phrasing ,and a player who has great articulation and control over his instrument is ALWAYS great to hear. So many on UTUBE just wank away ,and shred.....it has its place among the shredders .but I'll take a memorable line I can hum any day.. or ..a few notes in the right places over shred...anyway. it was really cool to hear your playing. I came here for tge Zion stayed to watch hear you on tge Zion.. I played one at Guitar Center tge other day and I was AMAZED...HOW did tgese guutars get past me in tge 80s..when I was on a Charvel, kick...that guitar was one of tge most incredible necks I've ever touched..everything about tge instrument screamed quality. I mean this guitar was almost 40 years old and it was almost pristine ,except that neck. It had been played and was perfect. I'm trying to move some gear for it...I want it really bad..great playing man.

Brett, you are the man. You taught me to take the guitar beyond an instrument to an expression. I got caught up with my job and family and put it down, but still have the love. My classic maple was my first Zion, also a 1988, and it will always be my #1 guitar. I do all my studio recordings on it, but I don't take her out live anymore. I have two Radicasters that feel identical for live, the white one in this video and a green one that's in other YT videos on my channel. Thanks for watching! I've watched all your vids about those settings, but my Canon M-50 has some things in there that I'm very unsure about. I'm getting ready to record a massive library of songs and lessons for my students and I really feel like I'm not quite certain I have everything optimized on the video end of things. I have my screen perfect according to my iPad readout. I have 4 Flowlights just lighting the green screen and 4 Aperature lights to light the subject. I think I'm really close, but these camera record settings have me wondering, and I don't want to record the whole library and then realize that I could have had better results. When I bought my Zion guitars new, they each came with this nice rubber end piece stuck on the trem bar. Check the picture in the link below. Over the years I wore out the original rubber ends with the nice Zion logo on them, but I discovered that the rubber tubing that my physical therapist gave me to use for stretching exercises was the exact perfect size to put over the end of the trem. What it does is keep a sweaty hand from slipping off the trem.
