It's Week 5 of the Chakra Challenge! It's time to speak your truth without fear with this awesome throat chakra yoga sequence. This visuddha chakra yoga flow is to heal and balance your throat chakra and improve your overall listening and communication.
Chakra 5 the throat chakra is all about communication. Ask yourself, what are your patterns of communication? Do you impose your truth on others? Or do you not speak up enough? This energy center is just about listening as it is about talking. Fluid communication means transmitting and receiving. This chakra also invites us to examine how we talk to ourselves, what is your inner dialogue?
Located in the region of your neck and shoulders, you can visualize this energy center as a bright aquamarine blue. I have sometimes terrible pain in my throat and chest area. My psychiatrian told me it is due psychosomatical pain. Connecting with others feels really hard, and I often feel isolated around people. It could be because of a trauma that happened to me years ago, and I feared telling about it to anyone, and now I cant just be real and vulnerable around anyone. In the recent years I have told some people about it but "non-emotionally", like it would have been something that happened to someone else... However thank you very much, because of your yoga my throat ffeel quite much better for the moment. Especially the palms over head was quite effective and it really helped relaxing the tension!

I have been using healing visualizations to heal and clear my chakras for a long time, but I always struggle with my heart chakra. This is the most absolutely open, light, spacious feeling I have ever felt in my heart. You’re amazing. 🙏

This was SO helpful. I'm a teacher and voice is key to my work. I'm about to start delivering a new course and since yesterday my left shoulder, neck, and jaw have been tense and painful. The tension has not completely vanished but the yoga and meditation have been really beneficial in making me locate the tension, understand why it's there, and work with it and through it. Amazingly during the meditation I could barely feel it at all. Thank you Brett!

I absolutely loved this practice. I think I totally quieted my mind in Savasana this time. I don't think I have ever achieved that before. The breathing was so amazing. Thank you so much I am loving this challenge.

haven't felt like this after yoga for while! thank you. you have a new fan. the speed was nice as I inhale and exhale 5 counts. made me sweat so I burned off some stuff in my throat chakra. I feel great! nice voice and visually the room is relaxing and soft colours. I can tell you have very intelligent yoga flows.

I love your work, and yes this is an older video, but may i suggest you put some kind of a compressor to your audio, expecially on these classes you tend to cup the mic in your poses, cause the volume tends to peak up as you do that. Lots of love to you ❤️

For me, the throat chakra is not just for communicating, it also retains my generosity thoughts (duty thoughts) so don't be concerned about my long list of comments. I need it that is the only thing that I have commented in each comment. I haven't commented nothing else in my comments so again, don't be concerned about it. I know, time spending but worth it at the same time.

Hi there and thank you! I am going to give yoga a serious try this time, even though I have never felt so unfit as now after this set...I have hypothyroidism so I'm hoping yoga will make me feel better eventually. As I am new to this, would you recommend the fifth chakra exercises or do I need to really be stimulating all of them?..

We wanted to buy blocks and we saw everything was just blasting expensive. The only one was Melissa West will sometimes talk about it. She lives in Canada. The only block brand that was a little bit less expensive Melissa West said that is only for Canadian viewers. Do you know any place where blocks is at least not 15:00?

Is it normal for your legs to be shaking when you do some of theses poses?

I'm quite a starter in yoga and I desperately need help with my throat chakra. I have major problems and I have to speak my truth at last to everybody causing me troubles... Do I have to make all the previous practices in the chakra challenge or the thoat practice is helpful either way? Thank you in advance.🙏

But still I want to say.... Nice but but I couldn't do half of the poses because some poses uses flexibility and I am new in yoga so I am not flexible at all. Let me know if you have something to help getting flexible becoming easy if you have some kind of flexibility channel.
