I purchased this for my parents for this past Christmas. They love it, as do I. I saw a video you did on it before I bought it and that's why I'm subscribed to you! We recently made an orang sorbet. It was delicious. I would recommend the Smart Scoop to anyone.

Thanks for this review. I'm wanting to get one of these soon. I agree that planning ahead with the Cuisinart is a pain. I make ice cream about once every week so it's getting annoying.

To me, making our own ice cream could be healthier, too! What flavor do you usually make? 😊 Let me know how it goes when you make ice cream!

Hi Alvin. After doing some research I decided to get the Breville smart scoop ice cream maker. the features are good and easy to use and when I used it I can say that it's definitely worth it. So, I would still prefer or choose this one. Have you decided what will you get?

I have this but having an issue wherein once I finish churning and remove the ice cream bowl from the machine I always find ice cream has leaked into the machine from between the bowl and the paddle down to under the ice cream bowl and sits there and i have to clean it out every time.

I think its because the churn motor that is housed inside the machine below the ice cream bowl. Thanks for this comment and sharing your experience with this ice cream maker. :)

Hello and konnichiwa! Not being Japanese myself, I took some Japanese in junior high many years ago. 1991 to be exact. My favorite Japanese foods are dim son and sushi. Now about the Brevell smart scoop, that which is the ice cream maker that you have. My complaint, is that instead of one and a half quarts, it should be an even 2 quarts, that which is a half a gallon, that which is a standard portion, that which she would find in a container of Breyers ice cream or even dryers ice cream, because I don’t know if I can find containers that can hold a quart and a half. And besides, it’s easier to make batches of ice cream within half gallon portions. Not that I know how to convert or don’t know how to convert, because I know how to convert. It’s just easier to make ice cream in a half gallon batches. But I like the control panel that’s for sure. So if it were me, I probably would want to get a second Bucket, or canister as you said. I love the control panels though. I just know that 2 quarts is half a gallon, and 4 quarts is a gallon. A half a quart is more of like an odd number or 1.5 quarts is an odd number. The complaint is not against you. It’s against Breville. Now Gourmia has ice cream makers with internal freezers just like Breville that make up to a half a gallon maybe a little more. And while they’re a little bit more pricier than Breville, at least I will have more of a balanced batch and more even batch of ice cream, identical to what I see in the stores, yet without all the preservatives and no stinking stupid stabilizers. I just hope I can get one without an LCD screen, since I cannot see an LCD screen, because I am blind. Take care and thank you for sharing this review on KZbin! Goodbye and sayonara.

it should be creamy. and depends on the ratio of cream or milk you are going to use :)

Hi, this is Joe..... I will be getting this machine today...... I was talking to a woman who owns this machine and said after the ice cream is made, you have to put into a freezer for about an hour before you can eat it??? Is this true? If not, what was she talking about?
@the1blkman4 жыл бұрын
@@JesusIsLord331 I think she just likes firmer ice cream. When it's done in the machine it's still like a firm-ish consistency and a lot of folks like it harder so you put it in the freezer to get it fully hard. If not it's more so a soft serve.

Hi, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I just got my machine, and I was wiping inside the chamber (ice cream bowl removed), and a small plastic ring was sitting in the chamber. It was loose. I’m imagining it goes on the metal rod that holds the bowl, but I have no clue how to orient it. Do you have any idea? Thank you.

Ultimately, I will be going to a church today for the first time and I was reading on the staff members and statement of beliefs.
