I've just started watching the Spike Feeders about a week and a half ago, and in the short time, I viewed Alex as the villain and Jim as the hero, with Jerry being the backup hero when Jim wasn't there. This was a super fun game to watch, and I'm thinking I may need to brew birds.

My prerelease deck was a frog "bounce" to get "enters" effects deck due to the sheer quantity of frogs I opened. Also opened a Beza :) Happy to see Clement as he may be my next commander build!

People use it a bunch of different ways, but it seems unlikely to be budget based. A deck with a foil Windswept Heath isn't functionally different than one with a nonfoil Windswept Heath despite costing more.

lol casual is about power level not about cost. Casual meaning no fast mana, large amount of tutors, powerful costed spells etc. you can make a deck absurdly casual with terrible cards but make the price 10k+ with some lands

When you talk of low price, the term is budget decks and there will be a maximum on dollars but not necessarily power

Alex's deck is definitely the most expensive, you can very easily make the mana base a lot cheaper without hurting the consistency by just cutting the heavy hitters like prismatic vista and the fetch/shock gruels, grab yourself a filter, pain, or check land instead and its immediately ~$60 cheaper, ancient copper dragon also isn't a necessary card in the deck, I also personally dislike the card as its not as good as its pricetag would lead you to believe. I was kinda shocked when he dropped prismatic vista turn 1 in a 2 color deck, just seems unnecessary, definitely wouldn't run it in any 2 or less color deck unless I have sack/landfall synergies.
