The Ol’ Switcharoo, London Style. This was really fun to make. Central Joke: Brexit-Geezer’s bizarre inflection system not only makes it unreadable, but also means the Translation text sounds like something else in English #ccc3

I laughed so hard when I releaized that the entire point of the language was so that one example translation could be read out loud as the other.

i always love these languages that have one translation look like something funny even though all the rules are semirandom nonsense. i remember one where the bee movie translated into a french sentence meaning the same thing just by "coincidence"

I love how you didn't use the dental fricative which is actually accurate to the Cockney accent historically of East London.

From Joke Telling 101, Author: That Guy That's Always Funnier Than You - Rule 28 of joke telling - if you have to explain why something is funny... it's not funny. This can be subverted if the explanation of the unfunny joke is the actual joke (commonly known as meta), but has only ever been known to "land"* , when delivered by the most talented of performers. *see the section on "Comedy basics", for a full description of the term "land"
