I completely agree, except the part about Tarantino, is not the time or the place.

"I just pulled up a Tarantino and wrote way too much things" Ok that was funny.

Watched this movie recently. The ending wasn't completely satisfying, but the movie was pretty great. Some of the sequences are so good. Hitchcock-esque for sure.

Dressed to Kill, Blowout and Body Double are hands down his best work. Honorable mentions Carrie, The Fury, Raising Cain, Carlitos Way and Femme Fatale.

Remember seeing this when I was a teenager in the 80s on cable.I have always remembered this scene and how I was so taken by it. Not a word spoken but very powerful.

Can't wait to pick up the remastered Criterion for this. I saw it for the first time a few weeks ago and was stunned at how expertly crafted, shot, and directed it was. What a tense and engaging film, where every shot matters.

Saw this today for the first time. A masterpiece! And it’s extremely «modern». Did not «feel» like a 40 year old film.

Can't wait to see this documentary. Brian De Palma has always been my favorite American director. I think he stands alone in terms of how virtuosic and visual his sequences are, especially when you consider that most of them were made in the pre-CGI era and they are so much better than anything made today.

Great cinema. A character driven film. Special effects are not a factor. Everyone is after something.

The breakdown of the initial therapy scene and the subtle clues that Caine is the Killer would be more interesting.
