That doesn't make sense, if you just put your hand through a hypothetical portal, the blood is also being pushed through the portal by your heart. The portal is constantly transferring particles through to the other side. I imagine, as though it would feel as though you have not moved at all simply because, your particles would be moving at the same time as the portal can transfer them.

How do you separate the two entangled particles, and how do you move one to a different location?

Using q special lens they can split a photon into two entangled pair. But they will be in all locations at the same time and possible in many times at the same location. In superposition of spin up and spin down. Only through observation does the photon wave become determinate in position and spin which invariably tells you when observed what spin the other entangled photon will have. It will always be the opposite. The location of a photon will always be a wave pattern of probabilities the most probable being the most likely location when observed like the spin up and spin down state it starts out in is truly a random probability being that it is a 50-50 chance at one or the other once observed yet over great distance the entangled twin can be known without observing the second photon which will be the opposite spin once observed.

A big misconception. You have to entangle both particles through a quantum computer. Entangling particles is relatively easy. All we have to do is take the first particle and place it in a superposition. This is done through a hadamard logic gate in a quantum computer. The next step is to pass the particle through what is known as a CNOT gate. This takes the first particle, which is now in a superposition state, and makes the second particle mirror it's state. Since the first particle is in a superposition state, the second particle will be in a superposition state that mirrors the properties of the first particle, making them entangled since they now both share the same wave function. The problem here is that now the second particle will give the same result, but will be essentially "Upside down". The teletransported particle will also be upside down but we can easily fix this by making the tp'd particle go through a Z Phase gate. This gate just simple rotates the particle 180 degrees making it go back to it's original state. Once these particles are bound they could be placed anywhere around the universe, and they will still communicate instantaneously. Essentially transferring data faster than the speed of light. There is a problem though, since a form of communication must be held in order to complete the teletransportation of the 3rd particle, since even though the particle has collapsed out of the superposition, you would have no way of knowing when this would happen with out some sort of communication. And essentially rendering the whole thing useless. Another cool theory about superposition particles is that they exist interdimensionally. Proving the multi universe theory. When a superposition particle is observed, that same particle collapses in a parallel universe but the opposite way. It isn't possible how we imagine it. But on a quantum or atomic level in theory it is. We will sort of be dead between travel from point A to point B. The device has to memorize every single particle, atom etc also their states and placements from point A and reconstruct it all at point B in a way and timely manner which would keep us alive. That part has to be done when the particles are co-located. Otherwise it's impossible to keep the wave functions coherent. (You can try, but Heisenberg will always thwart your plans.) Entangled photons ship themselves, but other types of particles (specifically, those with mass) have to be launched by a particle accelerator. That's what I meant by FedEx.

That's what I was thinking about. I don't see it having any practical effects for human teleportation. Even in a thousand years, this technology would only allow for the killing of the first teleported person and the re-creation of another copy on the far end. The show "The Outer Limits" has an episode on this. Aliens work with humans to show them how its done. They teleport back and forth from Earth to the alien planet. Qauntum entanglement is not teleportation. Entangled objects do not move without crossing space. They coexist as the same particle occupying both positions in spacetime at the same time. Information is not traveling from one to the other through spacetime. When a particle is split into entangled pairs they occupy all points in spacetime at once because they are in all possible states in spacetime.
