I love Brian and I remember when this aired. I thought then everything you're saying now. Great reaction. Brian does a lot of covers. Praying by Kesha and Halo by Beyonce are a couple. He is such a powerhouse. 😎

I really didn't think it was going to be as great as that when he started off. I felt the production was too busy and I couldn't hear him properly etc but then halfway through it just clicked and that note at the end was so good! Better to put his own stamp on it than just play safe with a copycat version. I don't get AGT here but not sure how he didn't win it! I think I recommended this before but I'd recommend Skyscraper which raises awareness for anti bullying. I'm surprised we don't hear more of him.

Brian Justin Crum has an amazing voice and most of what I've seen of him is well done, compelling and memorable. I did not care for this version of this song. He had some high points, but the softer bits, to me, were muddled and seemed contrived. I do feel that he should have placed higher in the competition, possibly with a win. But not based on this performance. I enjoyed your reaction and your explanation of what you liked about it and why.

There is a singer named Rozzi (no last name) that did a duet with Scott from PTX called "Lose Us" which is phenomenal. You should react to that, first of all. Secondly she does "Man in the Mirror" with a funk group called Scary Pockets. Like you, I tend to not like other versions of MJ - but Rozzi's version of Man in the Mirror is so cool! Please try it out and react to it! Thanks so much! P.S.. You still need to do Brian's version of Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing".

I love Brian's voice. But I'm not a fan of this arrangement. I thought it strayed too far. And I think it might have gained by including the key change. This is my least favorite performance by him.
