Those of us that saw him for what he was early are extremely happy that the arguement that he just needs talent has been debunked. He has a terrible scheme, he overcoaches qbs, he kills assistants, he is a terrible recruiter, he finds ways to let teams hang with him that have no business doing so, he is unable to make smart halftime adjustments and he is outcoached in every big game he has. Let LSU have him and they will for years for the stupid contract they gave him for achieving nothing at ND.

This is all so familiar, Kelly's teams have either a big game or a road game against a mediocre team, his team falls behind early and Kelly starts yelling at his players and making rash decisions like benching someone, this causes the team to play worse and then they get blown out.

If we can be objective for a minute, we would admit that the ND fan base on social media has to be the most annoying fanbase in the country. Between constantly dunking on Brian Kelly and trying rewrite his ND resume (as if 2012, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021 didn’t exist) to insisting that we need to be ranked higher than Penn St or a 2 loss SEC powerhouse even though we lost to NIU and typically lose every major game (A&M was huge and that was the time to pump our chests out). Is it possible to have some humility until we beat Army and USC and clinch a playoff? This team hasn’t accomplished anything. Marcus Freeman hasn’t accomplished anything. In fact, he’s one loss away from the Pop Tarts Bowl for the 3rd year in a row. We are on the razor’s edge. Stop jinxing us and setting us for relentless shit talk if we don’t make the playoff.
