hey not sure if you will read this but I wanna get my first track day in and I live in Michigan. Not many tracks or places to ride around here from what i can tell. Is my novice skill okay for a track day? Also do you have any tips for a guy who wants to get good at riding?

@@sportbiketrackgear I used to race F2000 formula cars. Recently I bought a motorcycle dealership and bc it will be so easy I want to start racing bikes regionally. WERA seems to be the right place but has 3 weekends 2 of which are at this track for the region I’m able to participate in, the other track doesn’t seem that great either. Regardless I want in so after some track days this year and the beginning of next year maybe I’ll be able to race the last weekend of next season. Hey does anyone have a contact for me to talk to? Any information and or advice is much appreciated, thx.

This was all done with the AIM Solo 2 DL Lap Time and AIM SmartyCam HD I have installed on the bike. I am riding a 2018 Suzuki GSXR 1000 R, not racing, just doing track days this year. The plan is to start racing again next year with my Son Max Van. - Van

Brian what gearing are you running? Im making my 16 R1 a dedicated track bike for Grattan next year and curious about the ratio your runnimg. Im running -1 +2 right know on street its a bit much but figured it would be perfect at grattan to keep me from 1st to 2nd gear shifts, but I see you are down in 1st at the bus stop. Also does your R1 have a really twichy throttle? after the xplane ecu flash the thing wants to rip me off the bike and super twichy
