Maybe because you guy's are my age. The bottom line is you guy's have the same hunting style, ethics, and passion for hunting and consuming organic meat as I do. You guys are the cream of the crop in regards to comparing to other videos on KZbin. Your ethics of putting in the miles and getting close to game, whether it be with bow or rifle when it comes to good shot placement -- you guys always for the most part get it done with one shot. You guys are good role models for the new generation. Lol--- the e-bikes ?? I guess in time we have take care of the hips and back. I still go backpack-- minimalist. Wyoming guy

We’ve been reporting them to KZbin and blocking all the accounts and adding keyword blockers but as fast as we delete them they create new accounts and spam us. If you ever wonder about the source of a comment you can always go to the account page of the commenter. When you do that you’ll see that the message isn’t coming from the Gritty KZbin channel. These bikes are great for areas with good roads and wide, flat trails. And great for distance if you have two batteries and a solar charger. But not so good for trails that aren’t smooth and wide-better to walk or use a pack animal or a motorcycle for the rocky, narrow, nasty trails.

Takes a lot of control to pass up an opportunity like that and not squeeze off a shot. That last spot y’all got to looks awesome i hope to hunt somewhere like that one day myself

Cool adventure guys. I agree with the call not to take that bear, he’ll grow much bigger in a year or two.

Ryan's pad is around 17oz not 31 if anyone was wondering. I second that is the most comfortable pad. I've tried neoair xtherm, nemo tensor, Klymit, and the q-core and q-core takes the most comfortable award. Followed by tensor. For warmth xtherm is the best. Klymit is a cheap begginer insulated pad that works and is still better than a foam closed cell pad.

The weight depends on the dimensions and the R-value. But I think you’re right-Ryan’s pad might be just 20” wide, which is way too narrow. Regardless, I really don’t like the pad-definitely not the most comfortable, IMO. But, to each their own. For my money, the Xtherm is #1.

I always get excited for your films! I noticed you (Brian) were running the turbulator tape on your Valkyrie set-up. I’ve been curious about how exactly the turbulators work, but have only been able to find the little info Valkyrie has on their website. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. Thanks!

Notice to Brian call and gritty channel, I’ve been contacted by somebody posing off my previous comment on your video today with a Brian call gritty email stating that I won a Hoyt RX7 bow as long as I would be willing to pay for shipping. Very sketchy.

Brian your effort is almost more impressive than Ryan’s. He’s long and a natural mountain goat lol , your built for strength, short intense burst’s. You’ve had will yourself to keep up with Ryan in the mountains lol. However it looks like it’s been worth it. My hats off to you both, you make doing it right look cool, I feel young people looking to get into the hunting lifestyle would be well served by watching you and Ryan to learn about doing the right things right. How to be a good trustworthy partner. training for both marksmanship and body condition. Taking reasonable and ethical shots at game. Being patient in all aspects of the hunt. Gratitude and respect for the animals by proper meat care and recovery. I value these behaviors just as much as the technical lessons of your scouting, stalking, logistics planning, gear selection, and trophy evaluation. Thanks for putting the effort in to film your hunts together, you make a great team!
