These are guys you would be proud to call friends and have around the dinner table. Their approach to hunting, archery and life in general is something everyone should notice. They both deserve the last beer in the fridge!

Single pins are not hard to use in the field. Buy a 3 pin slider or a 5 pin slider, if someone is worried about adjusting. I hate cluster, but shot good with either.

Awesome episode . TY . Maybe throw out some broadhead stuff in a future gear episode ie what do the two of you use and why . . As a total noob I find your show incredibly informative . fwiw the end section concerning hunters and conservation is very well done .I hope that you get to hang onto your public lands and do not go the route of "the kings deer". cheers

well...I have been out of the bow game since the mid 90's! Might be getting back into it. I initially was looking at the new Mathews Halon 32, but now you have me second guessing after referencing back to this video. There is a big different in weight from the Carbon Defiant compared to the Mathews Halon. Damn near a pound difference on the bare bows.

I agree with the 2 blade fixed blade. I have the carbon defiant turbo and it is accurate. I can't tell the difference with a 6 and 7 inch brace height for accuracy . Try shooting them and the only difference is the draw cycle. Turbo forces me to use back tension which holds better on target.
@takashi03527 жыл бұрын
My turbo is at 72lbs, shooting a 570 grain at 268 fps. Change the peep and it is at 272.

Dang, didn't think I'd hear the name Butch's Sports World here. Just across the river and up the highway from me! It's in Missouri not Illinois though 👍

Draw angle, this is my question with my long draw length. What do people notice about their experience with draw angle.

Anyone know what the brand is on Brian's stabilizer?

Hey guys love these latest podcasts, I've been tossing up between the pro defiant or carbon defiant both in 70#. Do you have much experience with the pro?
@aronsnyder24267 жыл бұрын
Killer M.C. I've shot both bows a good bit. we chose the Carbon because it's lighter and better for backpack hunting and we can always add weight to the stabilization system if more mass weight is needed. both bows are great, so you won't make a bad decision with either.

Thanks for the reply Aron, I think I'll end up going with the pro defiant turbo, I also use black eagle zombie slayers, have you ever used those? How do they compare to outlaw/carnivore?
@whitefly00997 жыл бұрын
HI Aron i am a big fan of you guys i listen to your pod cast heaps! have a question i have a hoyt pro defiant with 80 pound limbs drawing 78 pound i want start shooting black eagle arrows what arrow and spine do you recommend i can go a mid range model just interested in your opinion any help would be awesome cheers mate from Australia!
@aronsnyder94877 жыл бұрын
I'd look at the 300 spine Outlaw or 250 spine Carnivore. I shoot both of those and they've been great!

How necessary is micro adjust on an arrow rest? Wondering if I should trade in my Hamskea Hybrid Hunter for the micro adjust version...
@aronsnyder94877 жыл бұрын
I actually prefer the non micro adjust
@georgegiesbrecht82247 жыл бұрын
what is that stabilizer at 2:25 ? I can't seem to find the name of it on your podcast list

I've enjoyed your video podcasts. You're killing me with your thumbnails though. I've been looking for a video of Aron using proper shot execution and your thumbnails lead me to believe that I've found the right video only to find a talk through of technique.

ApiErik Endeavors ~ As for a video of shot execution, I'm not sure we have a video like that on KZbin. We've posted a few videos like that on Facebook and Instagram. But I don't recall if we have any on KZbin.

Just ordered one last week $1500 All blacked out. I would've got $50 discount if I bought the one they had in-house.
