Keep in mind she also stepped in to sing in some major shoes when she sang Barracuda with Nancy Wilson on guitar.. Not many may realize Nancy & T were close friends.. Taylor even played drums on Nancy's latest album, "You and Me". Look up the song she just wrote in his honor "Amigo, Amiga" here on YT. The saddest irony is on the album they'd _just_ done a song, "Party in the angels ballroom" which is _literally_ about all the good souls lost & meeting on the other side.. 🕊

Wow! Just Wow! Easily the (vocal) performance of the show! Absolutely nails it (and that is even with making a slight mistake and not coming in at one point). You know something is good when you watch it again and again and again! Some people are pretenders...Pink is certainly not! I am not even a fan but blown away! Dave knows star performance when he sees it and puts his hands above his head and claps her off stage in awe!

Taylor Momsen manages to invoke the golden age Grunge vibe well, her voice is perfectly suited for all kinds of music, although it is sweet it manages to be raspy and grating at the same time. She does justice in every tribute she has been to date, she always ends up picking more than one song, all the musicians involved obviously enjoy collaborating with her. Hawkins' tribute she was a last minute guest and without rehearsing did two songs, Soundgarden's she was only going to do Loud Love, and got three more songs without rehearsing. She is one of the best things that happened to rock n roll in the last decade, a real gift.

Pink's first relation to Brian and Roger dates all the way back to 2004 when she outsang Beyoncé and Britney Spears in a rendition of "We Will Rock you" for a Pepsi commercial. Beyoncé is an excellent vocalist, but Pink's raspy power vocal was just much better suited for a stadium rock ballad like WWRY. In 2009/2010 she was at it again, when she and her band toured with a complete live rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody". Perhaps not the best Queen song pick for Pink, but she and the band (of socalled 'hired guns') somehow managed to create an impressive live performance of this quite complicated song. And it appears that they are going to bring it back to their next tour setlist. In 2019 she had a shortened version of "We Are The Champions" on her tour setlist. I wouldn't call it impressive, but once again it was obvious that Pink's pipes can bring Queen's classic stadium rock ballads back to life. This performance is not on par with George Michael's outstanding performance at the Freddie tribute concert in 1992. But once again it shows how 'effortlessly' Pink can belt out Queen anthems. I actually feel sorry for Justin Hawkins who sang "We Will Rock You" and "Somebody To Love" at the TH tribute in London three weeks earlier. He did do a fine job with "Under Pressure" though.

JJMartinez, true as you say, but there are times Brian sounds great! Wembley tribute was good. He is 75, had Covid, but also survived a heart attack & surgery. Paul McCartney, who is now 80, sounded great at Glastonbury, but not so good at Taylor’s Tribute at Wembley. Have to remember these legends are getting older. Can’t be expected to sound same as in their prime. I’m sure Brian, along with Roger ( whose drum sound is still on point), wouldn’t miss this tribute regardless of how he was feeling. Plus he is still touring & sounding good. Jet lag could play part also. Think he will know when it will be time to hang up red special.
