That beret is what got me into rock music in the late 70s early 80s. My uncle Dino loved AC/DC and had one that he always wore. He called it his magic hat. I was about 8 or so when he put his hat on my head and turned on Highway to Hell. The magic hit me. My uncle passed away shortly after I joined the military. I jammed Highway to Hell on every mission i went on in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Instead of a beret, I was wearing my Kevlar. But that magic was still there. You fucking rock brother. RIP Uncle Dino.

Its frustrating when songs are calling and my heart isnt there to answer. I WILL grab my guitar and work through it. Every new English singing star, spends two minutes in La La Land and speaks with some weird mid Trans-Atlantic twang. Brian, spends the last forty odd years rocking out all over the world, lives in LA but still talks in the same Geordie vernacular as in his youth. You can tell he's one of the very rare absolutely genuine people in that industry.

True story. I was at the Blaine border crossing with the Foo Fighters when they were in this van because we were all going to the same thing in Vancouver, BC. They played a different venue than we did that night but good memories.

Hello Brian. We met once at the NFFC thanks to John McGovern. Malcolm's son played pool with my son. Hope you are doing well. PS the photo on the KZbin thumbnail makes Robert Plarnt look like Bunty. Keep on rockin'
