oh thank you! I mixed a lot of thing in this video so glad you enjoyed it. Yes I was happy to get SADE two vinyl albums, they go for a lot at record stores, good thing I have the cds, now I gotta listen to them to hear the missing songs. yes I was so surprised Marvin Gaye was at the good will, that's so cool its one of your favorites, he was very talented, and deep with his music, probably why a lot of people connected with his music. thank you for taking the time to comment and share your memories.

Wow Moni! A fantastic variety show! I love it! The legacy you are creating for your children by involving them in the cooking and baking process is priceless! Just like you remember your grandmother they will remember you, your cooking and the music you play with them! I love watching you evolve as a mother, wife and now a chef and baker 👩🏻‍🍳 😊. I’m so glad you discovered Dave Brubeck! Jazz is a wonderful genre of music to expose children to at an early age. Amelie is a great movie! Sourdough tortillas!? Cool. I’ll have to give those a try. Look at me, getting recipes from you now! 😂. I better get back in the kitchen before you unsubscribe and find a new chef lol. Keep up the great work and ever evolving content. 😎🫶🏽✌🏽

@@MonieMuse Never made Sourdough before at all but it was under consideration during COVID. As for the eclipse, it was a bit of a bust. Where I was at in Texas, it was overcast. I had three cameras set up for it but we only got to see it for a few fleeting seconds before the cloud cover over came everything. Being in total darkness for four minutes was pretty cool though. I might have to string all of the footage I took into some type of video. I did get some good video of the partial phase.

👋 HI. I live in New Zealand. Im in my sixties in age , so I spent my childhood in the 1960s. I loved the Beatles then. 1964 I was eight years young when they toured here on their world tour. I didn't see them as my father was conservative and wouldn't have sat at a concert surrounded by screaming teenage girls. I did ask him to take me. Nevermind , their music excited me , and I loved to hear them coming from the radio. Paul Mc Cartney I like very much . One of my favorite songs of his is titled My Love from 1973. Their is a good colour video on youtube of him performing the song with his wife Linda and band. From Carl.

Oh that’s so beautiful! My parents weren’t into music (or so I thought, my dad has recently shared he really likes funk music 😁) so I didn’t hear a lot of this classic stuff, it’s been a fun adventure to hear Paul McCartney and John Lennon solo work for the first time. Oh I’ll look up the music video now! Thank you for sharing

I'm a big McCartney and Beatles fan. Other reviewers have ranked McCartney's work (sans Beatles) and Flaming Pie comes out top on several reviewer's lists. It is an incredible solid album. I recently bought a restored reel-to-reel deck and Flaming Pie was the first album I recorded. Now personally . . . Band on the Run is my favorite, but this is tied to sentimental reasons. Love your channel!

Here's everything I have added to my collection lately and my comment is a long one! haha. 1) AUGUST BURNS RED - Leveler, Rescue & Restore, Found In Far Away Places, Phantom Anthem (signed by the band), Guardians and Death Below. I've known about this Melodic Metalcore band for A LONG TIME, as they formed in the early 2000s and I was in High School when their first 2 albums came out in 2005 and 2007 respectively, but though I gave them a shot back then and periodically did so between then and now, I didn't click with them until recently (a few weeks ago in fact). Now, I'm utterly immersed in their discography and only need 3 more albums (Thrill Seeker, Messengers and Constellations) to mark the completion of their discography set in my collection. 2) THE SWORD - Gods Of The Earth and Apocryphon. An underrated Stoner Metal band who sadly aren't around anymore, they're one of my favourites and these additions mark the completion of their discography set (6 albums) in my collection. The band cited the likes of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Sleep, The Melvins, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Metallica, Pantera, ZZ Top (to name a few) as major influences on their sound and The Sword's frontman/rhythm guitarist John "JD" Cronise (who exclusively employed clean singing) mainly wrote lyrics revolving around Fantasy and Sci-Fi. 3) SEVERAL VIDEO GAME SOUNDTRACKS A = CHAD CANNON - "GHOST OF TSUSHIMA: MUSIC FROM IKI ISLAND & LEGENDS" B = JESPER KYD - "ASSASSIN'S CREED: VALHALLA". Though Assassin's Creed is my favourite game series, I've neither played this entry in it nor do I see myself playing it anytime soon. However, I LOVE the music Jesper Kyd wrote for some of the previous entries.... "Ezio's Family" (the Main Theme of Assassin's Creed II which would go on to become the Main Theme for the entire series) being one of my ALL TIME favourite pieces of music, a song that often brings me to tears when I hear it because it's a song about losing and finding family. C = VARIOUS - "ASSASSIN'S CREED: LEAP INTO HISTORY" (5 LP BOX SET). Containing 70 tracks from most of the series (from the games Odyssey through to Syndicate, 12 mainline games), I CAN'T WAIT to listen to this when my copy arrives later in June. As I said above, this is my favourite game series and I HAD BEEN HOPING the music would be pressed on vinyl for a long time until I saw this! D = YUKA KITAMURA - "SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE" (4 LP BOX SET). I actually bought a copy of the Box Set for this Soundtrack during COVID, but it didn't arrive and I was bummed about that. However, I FINALLY got a copy of this a few weeks ago and Yuka has yet to compose anything less than masterful work! SHE'S JUST SO TALENTED and I love all the work she has done for FromSoftware's games Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring (games whose Soundtracks I also have on vinyl) The next three Soundtracks are all for the same game, but were written by two different composers: E = JASON HAYES - "WORLD OF WARCRAFT: CLASSIC", F = RUSSELL BROWER - "WORLD OF WARCRAFT: THE BURNING CRUSADE" G = RUSSELL BROWER - "WORLD OF WARCRAFT: WRATH OF THE LICH KING". World Of Warcraft is another game whose music I had long hoped would be pressed on vinyl (as I played and kept up with this game from 2004 (when it first came out) until its 6th Expansion, "Legion", in 2016) because THE MUSIC HAS CONSISTENTLY BEEN UTTERLY PHENOMENAL and I even included a song called "The Nightsong" in the Playlist for my father's funeral/Celebration Of Life in 2022! Anyway, Jason Hayes' album is the Soundtrack for THE BASE GAME, while Russell Brower's Soundtracks are for the 2nd and 3rd Expansions (The Burning Crusade and Wrath Of The Lich King respectively as mentioned). H = CAPCOM SOUND TEAM - "MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD" (6 LP BOX SET). I've had this game for a while now (Capcom being the studio behind it), but I didn't like it for the longest time because I didn't understand the gameplay/combat. However, I'm immersed in it now that I understand how it works and the music is amazing! This is a Pre-Order and the album is set to release in September. I added MORE records than just these, but this comment is long enough and I'll outline what else I added in another one.

Always remember Flaming Pie in a special way, it was the McCartney record I got while I tried to live in Copenhagen. Also so far his last Archive collection box set (splendid) and I worry he’ll leave us in the dust and not release the last ones, like the wonderful London Town, Back to the Egg and criminally underrated Press To Play! 😟 Brubeck classes up the dullest of days. I love Weezer. And Weezer is one of those bands where one of their vinyls are one of my white whales (Raditude). Do you think it is a little odd that bands release new vinyl albums in this day and age with posters in them? Really want the new Vampire Weekend, just been sooo much music lately!
