Brian, with the S1100 Charger having auto-start charging. You have to push "stop" to stop the charging, so the full menu comes up, then you can change the discharge days. Then push start to charge. Awesome! The F15 is supposed to be a great EDF! I don't have that or the F16 in that size class, but would like to review them too. I have had the same issue with battery size compared to power , don’t understand it my self and had two of the same battery with two different gauge of wire. I believe the c ratings on batteries can be some what of a sham any way, I truly believe there are only 4 c ratings cause of the way the batteries are made down the production line.
@BrianPhillipsRC4 жыл бұрын
I think the C rating needs to be redone...there should be a DC (Discharge) rate, and a C (Charge) rate...some would have the same rate, while others might have totally different circuits. I don't think the C ratings are a bad way to communicate value to a customer, but this value can be "overstated", even by a reputable company like Horizon Hobby.

Thanks Crazy Aces!!! Glad you're getting serious ;) This plane is way harder than the A-10, but the A-10 is way faster, and probably a bit better value, in a side by side. I was disappointed about no flaps on this plane, but it's sort of excusable with the air break... 7 miles in 32 seconds - AMAZING!!!! THAT'S FAST!

WOW! That's awesom. Do you buy all the planes you review on the channel or are you being sponsored by Horizon Hobby?
@BrianPhillipsRC4 жыл бұрын
I work with several different rc manufacturers and distributors now, but not sponsored per say...they don't pay me, but that would be nice. Keep in mind, lots of my videos were from when I was buying everything, but now I have some items sent. It's very nice, but took loads of work to get to this point, and we've been really fortunate to have such an AWESOME audience supporting us along the way!!!

this is cool! but I'm wondering if your gonna continue the airbus a380 it would be nice.
@BrianPhillipsRC4 жыл бұрын
I'm honestly, pretty frustrated with the A380. YES, I could fix it, and SHOULD fix it, but I'm just not sure I can handle it. I wish someone would just buy it from me. It was such a labor of love for me, but now it's just a waste of space, even though it's BEAUTIFUL, even crashed! If I wanted to fix it RIGHT, I'll be getting 4 engines and nacelles from XPR, and redoing the power system to 4S....this would be a REAL undertaking, and just too busy for that time commitment.

What is your preference, overall quality and performance, E-Flight SU-30 or Horizon F-18 Blue Angel? Thanks for the awesome videos.
@BrianPhillipsRC4 жыл бұрын
I think the SU-30 is marginally better for quality, but I prefer the F-18 since it has flaps rather than just an air break. Both are really cool, but some have had an issue with elevator on the F-18 (I have not)
