In our Case 8230, when I'm not in the field, the Road Mode button is pushed on.....without fail. One day, I drove the combine into the barn and forgot the hoppers were open. Luckily the door was high enough to let me pass through. THAT would have been expensive! Not harvesting....Rode Mode button is on.

Dealership I worked for back around 1980 did the same thing delivering a brand new Ford 642 combine (Class-built) to the customer. It was on a lo-boy and had clearance under the bridge until the road tractor started up the rising road grade on the other side. Raised the combine right up into the bottom of the bridge.

Don’t remember if your combine has a grain tank camera but that’s one nice thing about it. It’s easy to see if it closed. Also nice to know when you are full. Just find where it runs over first and mount the camera there. When the corn hits the camera then you stop.

Thanks for another video Brian and family. The video was very interesting and hard to watch understanding the situation. First I am sorry you got hit from the after effects of the big hurricane. Know you got high winds and lots of rainfall. Hopefully your corn stayed standing. Bent over corn is hard to combine. Prayers your corn is ok. Second, sorry about the damage to your Fendt combine. Know that is hard to see but everyone is safe and the combine is fixable. Hard year for combines. Your grain tank is damaged and Larsons lost a motor. Wow. Hard way to start harvest 2024. Glad you got the grain tank disassembled and parts ordered. Then comes the fun part; putting it back together again!!!!! Things like this happen on a farm, just a way of life. Feel bad for Bob (dad) and am sure he is not pleased. Hang in there Bob. Didn’t look all that bad coming apart so hopefully will go back together in a good way. Thanks for everything Brian. You all take care and be safe!!!!!!!!!! The Iowa farm boy. Steve. 🤕🤕👍✅👋🇺🇸🇺🇸

Thank God u uploaded a video, so I can shut off the VP debate. The debate commentators are more slanted than the metal on your hopper topper. Glad your Dad is okay and it's Brian's fault for not calling Dad and telling him the topper is up. Corn up here in west central Ohio took a beating from Helene. Lots of 270 bushel plus fields with significant downed corn stalks or broken off. Will be interesting to see how much loss it causes, not too mention 5 inches of rain.

The hurricane has sure made a mess of things...fortunately you've not had the flooding issues of the Southern States. Gotta be heartbreaking for folks who have lost loved ones!!! Hate to see the damage to the combine, seems like if you have something nice, mishaps can happen. (Wonder if your Dad added some "NEW" color to his working words...).
