Hi, Uncle Brian. It has been 2 years since I started watching you. The only regret I have is that I didn't watch you before. I'm 25 years old , I'm young entrepreneur in Turkey. I just wanna thank you for all of the lessons. I believe that if I started watching you by the age of 16 ,I would probably be a very successful entrepreneur by now. This is the best school I have ever been to. THANK YOU

Feeling appreciated is a massive one. People will often go the extra mile. Also, as a boss, perpetual optimism is critical to share with the team when business is tough.

I can't believe my eyes, Brian Tracy. I read his books literally 25 years ago. He changed my life with them and now I get to listen to him on KZbin. Great six points of leading a team. I'll be using this for sure.

In the retail business so many are lacking in the "collaborative" efforts. It's kind of difficult to generate motivation without a collaborative mindset from the higher-ups in a company. Unfortunately, people tend to not be motivated if they don't feel their worth on the job. Thank you for this video, Brian, this is a great subject to explore further. I really appreciate the "WHY" example! 👌🙏😇🙌🙌🙌😺

It's interesting how Brian Tracy and Jack Canfield release weekly videos at the exact same day, and the exact same time. As if someone told them Thursday at 1PM is the ideal time to release a video.

Actually that precise time is also good to send out newsletters. Its past the rush of the week, but before slowdown on Friday. Also, its after lunch on Thursday so the morning rush is gone. Its a sweet spot for attention availability of viewers.

It's a challenge for myself in sharing my vision to my team. But the key words said to lead by example includes showing them what Excellence looks like.. show them what excellence looks like. That is what I was honestly not doing. Showing them by my example , what excellence looks like on a regular daily routine and positive praises of commending and encouragement all leads to higher grounds with the team in toil.. good clean words.. show what excellence *Looks* Like !!!

This works better than a lot of people realize. And it isn't even about becoming best friends with your co-workers or trying to kiss up to your boss by buying them a beer, spending time with your co-workers when you're not at work reminds us that maybe work is the thing that stresses everyone out and not each other 😂

If you want to motivate your employees, it starts the day they work. The employer must pay a livable wage. If the employer does not, then do not expect anyone to go above and beyond. Just do your assigned tasks . You never go above and beyond. Why? It wont get you anywhere.

When you remove your coat and jump in the middle of your team and do the same what they are doing is highly a great motivation..
@laprepper3 жыл бұрын
This can be helpful but I would provide a few caveats to the boss jumping in mode, one is that you better not jump in the middle and then get everyone to rush, the fact that you're there already indicates that you're looking for the team to get the project done you really don't need to do it in sort of an anxious and hurried way that just makes everyone uncomfortable. The second caveat is actually know what you're doing, if you jump in the middle of a project but end up slowing it down because people need to keep explaining things to you you're not helping. Third caveat is, consider whether or not jumping in the project is the best use of your time as a supervisor, if there are more important things that only a supervisor can do that need to be done as well perhaps finish those before jumping in and helping the team finish their work.
