Over 27 well known psychiatrists have made a diagnosis based on his speech problems and inability to sometimes complete words, sentences, thought patterns. His problems are so striking I just don't understand how the mainstream media doesn't show him when he's loses it at his rallies. However Rachel Madow of MSNBC did mention it on her show 1 week ago. He had problems when speaking in South Carolina last week. I've been a nurse for almost 40 yrs. and have cared for patients with dementia. Pres. Biden shows normal age related gaffes, but trumps problems are indicative of brain damage. This was stated by a psychiatrist who taught at John Hopkins Medical School, and after he spoke with 27 psychiatrists. This is really very scary and alarming.

I am a physicist. This feels like a Feynman Lecture. If you don't know what that is, Feynman lectures were physics lectures delivered by Richard Feynman, one of *the* best physicists ever, aimed at the general public. They are brilliant, in that even the layman can follow. Raskin does it every time he speaks. I have long said that Raskin's interventions, speeches, and House addresses should not only be safeguarded, for the future, they should be disseminated far and wide. I have personally saved a whole host of recordings and printed a stackload of transcripts. The man is a national treasure.

Jamie Raskin is more than just plain knowledgeable or smart, he is a professor of law at American University and a studied CONSTITUTIONAL law professor also, and for that reason he is so well informed on the constitution and is able to break it down for us all in such a grand way! Here is a link to ballotpedia if you want to know right off the top what all he is involved in and has done as a member of the US Congress since 2016, and also as a member of the Maryland Senate since 2007. He is now at 17 years of participation in our government one way or another, and is 61 years old, and because I support term limits and age limits of those in Congress, lets hope and pray that he continues to serve us for at least another14 years, before God takes him home, as we need good men like him as long as we can have them, and I thank God that he has given Jamie the chance to continue onward with us instead of allowing cancer to take him. MTG has a business degree & James Comer has an Agricultural degree. Gaetz & Jim Jordan both have JD degrees although neither holds an active law license (Gaetz's law license was suspended for not paying his bar fees & Jordan never sat for the bar). I could give some leeway to MTG & Comer because law & government weren't their fields of study but Gaetz & Jordan should know better. What I don't understand is if law & government aren't your forte, why the heck would you sit on a committee that discusses those subjects, at length, without familiarizing yourself with them? I guess I grew up under the scrutiny of my peers, teachers, colleagues, family, & parents, & if I screwed something up, boy, would I hear about it immediately. My Mom's baby brother was a MENSA genius. I couldn't write a letter to him without a dictionary by my side because he would send my letter back to me corrected. The first time my big sister, who was also pretty smart, wrote him a letter, she told me he sent it back to her. I immediately stopped her & said, "What did you spell wrong?"

I receive Rep. Raskin's Roundup email and follow his political action from afar, being located on the England/Scotland border. I am finding these Constitutional lessons to be very interesting and illuminating and I strongly feel the UK needs a written Constitution also. I hadn't realised his admiration for Thomas Paine, though it makes perfect sense that he does have great respect for that gentleman. The views of the Englishman Thomas Paine were - and are - widely held in the UK and elsewhere internationally, though it has taken us a couple of centuries to achieve much of what the USA did in a few short years. I share a few biographical details with Thomas Paine in that we were both employed by HM Customs and Excise in Lewes, Sussex and I believe he was a teacher at some stage , which is another thing we share. I am looking forward to following more in this series of Constitutional classes.

This was excellent. I am not a lawyer, but I am fascinated with and a student of the law. Nothing that was said in this video was new or a surprise to me, but hearing Representative Raskin speak to these issues make me envious of his students. He is the person who I quote the most when discussing these issues with family and rational Republican acquaintances and friends. In fact, I can even say what my favorite quote is: "People place their hand on the Bible and swear to uphold the Constitution; they don't put their hand on the Constitution and swear to uphold the Bible".

You should listen to the arguments and questions to the supreme court over these questions. Raskin is not deep diving on this subject from the legal standpoint or relevant case law. Raskin is also misrepresenting many nuances of these questions.
