I just double checked the Daily Mail Online article and it said that Trump's hush money conviction can be overturned due to the horrendous ruling from the SCOTUS yesterday. As of this morning, Trump's legal team has submitted a motion to have the conviction over turned. And, the Manhattan DA's office has gone on record in saying that they will not reject this motion.

The only thing I would add to that though is we do not want the one party to be as bad or worse that the other to combat them. It is like the old movies like Boa vs Python where you combat one large killer snake by releasing another one and then you realized now you have two killer snakes to deal with.
