It's a beautiful house and I'm sure my sisters in Virginia would love to live in it but not this New Yorker. My sisters are constantly trying to get me to move south but NEW YORK has my heart. I love visiting the south , it's beautiful there but not for me. The issues I have with the house is my aversion of pedestal sinks and having a formal dining room at the front of the house. I personally feel all eating areas should be together.

Hello ! Thanks for your message. All real estate is local and for some reason, there isn't great demand here. There are some builders that build new homes on basement lots and many older homes have unfinished basements. I don't believe there are any environmental reasons.
