Love your videos. Would like to know what size rims and tyres did you go with? I am buying billet hubs from Cognito but having the wheels laced here in Australia. I am looking at 17 120 on the front and 17 140 on the rear but am unsure what rim width to go for. Cheers

Did you end up cutting the camshaft?
@BrickHouseBuilds3 жыл бұрын
No because this is a 650 engine which has a factory electronic fan so it uses a different cam and tach drive.

When you get to the Exhaust system are you going to include the H box or do a 2-1 or 2 straight pipes ?
@BrickHouseBuilds4 жыл бұрын
Oh the exhaust has already been built! I just need to final weld it. The link is to ep19 which is pt2 of fabricating the system. That video links part 1. 2 into 1. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rn-ZnXWsea58ask

@Brick House Builds I am looking forward to seeing how you do the electrics that is one thing my bike could use a refresh on so your videos are very helpful for me even if your working on a gl500 it’s close enough. Great work so far I am loving the series keep it up.

Can you share where did you rebuild the radiator please? Thanks
@BrickHouseBuilds3 жыл бұрын
I had the radiator rebuilt at a facility here in Missouri. Are you more local?
@miguelatambucho7483 жыл бұрын
@@BrickHouseBuilds No man. Clearwater Beach Florida. But do you think I can ship it and pay in advance all the costs. Other question, do you have any kind of service of consultation? I love this GL and I am planning to fix a few things.
@BrickHouseBuilds3 жыл бұрын
@@miguelatambucho748 Well you could just have a local radiator shop do a rebuild on yours. The remove the sides and clean/repair the core before re-soldering it all back together. I didn't do anything to the radiator beyond painting it.

can i use a m.unit blue to mellow the starting spike of the fan? or do i need a becky unit even if I already have a m.unit blue?
@BrickHouseBuilds4 жыл бұрын
Actually I do not know on that one as I have never used an M-Unit. I know they offer an auxiliary port output but I don't feel it would be as controllable as this system since I can have a dedicated fan switch tell the Becky system when to turn the fan on and off as well as dial the overall speed to my liking.
