Hiya Izzy, yeh I do appreciate it myself, I have been in several trades, there is not a man alive that does,nt make mistakes mate and if there is he is either lying or never done anything, I really enjoy watching you, mainly because you have such a good outlook and you have a great personality. We all go through shit in life mate, it's how we deal with it. I love the rocky line "it's not how hard uou can hit, its how hard you can get hit and keep getting up" keep up the good work brother.

Never scale a drawing Izzy it contracts and expands same as a lot of other materials on a site, I'm sure your aware of that, tip let someone else make the call if you don't have a written measurement because assumptions can bite you in the pocket, when there is a foreman their let him or her sort it out. Nice work, clean Job is a happy Job.

Flyin up mate and not too shabby either . Got over the bad start really well . I cocked up the floor on our recent big fold door extension job . It was 45 mil low . In England there is a saying, "learn from your mistakes". Here in Poland, we have a slightly different saying. He who does nothing makes no mistakes. Just for the record, I'm a Brit living in Poland. A mistake is something that can and is corrected. A "cock up" is when it's hard or impossible to correct. Fact is we all make mistakes and cock ups. That's life. After all, we are only human. I'm actually glad you made the mistake and admitted to it rather than just editing it out. Shows you are "real" and human". Great job and the fact you can get up and carry on shows professionalism. Once again, well done and keep up the good work.

It takes balls to stand up in front of a camera and admit you made a mistake ! You could have easily edited all that out and we would have none the wiser ! So bravo young man for being so upfront and honest! That in my book shows your professionalism and the way you sorted out the minor hiccup . At the end of the day you are only human and these things happen ! Great to see Drew back on the team, I think with the guys you have around you now things will only get better for your business and keeping it 100% real will be a confidence booster for any future clients . Keep up the good work.

As with the other comments... appreciate the honesty in showing the mistake and the rectification. I was ripping my hair out earlier this year when doing the 1st course (!!!) Of my garden room. A local brickie who's helped me getting footings squared and poured told me my bond was all wrong so I ripped it all out a relaid the lot. Then, I made a gauge with too much sand and it was a different colour when dried. Ripped all that out as well. So it's OK for DIY'ers to make loads of errors - as the pros make the odd one too. I'll not worry too much about more mistakes as I progress (as long as they're spotted)!

If cavity-wall insulation is to be used , it can ONLY be installed from the VERY START of construction of the cavity-walls and there SHOULD be a LARGE air space gap in-between the face of the insulation and the OUTER WALL inside the cavity ; this includes an air space gap in between the face of the insulation and the cavity-wall-tie drip points which are in the centre of the cavity.
