Have been bricklaying for 30yrs but have never seen a corner block used to set a profile like that. Just goes to show we’re never to old to learn something new. I’ll defo be using that method. 👍👍

thanks for video, but i have a question, over here when building with aerated concrete blocks we use glue instead of mortar, any reason why you guys are using mortar instead of specialized glue? thanks
@CharlieCollison5 жыл бұрын
jamir I’ve never used glue on anything I’ve built mate. We build traditional build housing which is always mortar no mater what we’re building
@AntKardano5 жыл бұрын
should look into using glue/adhesive for aerated concrete blocks, the bonds between blocks are stronger, thermal insulation is better, because joints are much thinner and mortar thermal insulation properties are worse than blocks themselves and the price increase vs mortar is not that great.

@@CharlieCollison I see Charlie do you are doing as you have been asked therefore, there is thankfully no come back on you and your fellow workers but I know when I build to walls that intersect like that the blocks like brick work would have bonded with out using ties.
