I'm not a bricklayer. Much worse, I'm an Engineer. I certainly enjoy watching your work. I've always appreciated the work of professional craftsmen. You make it look effortless but I well know the many years and decades necessary to accomplish such a job well done. Thank you for the time you spend videoing and editing your presentations. God bless bricklayers and all tradesmen.

@TheTraditionalGolfer4 жыл бұрын
I do something similar but other way round i get the gobbo some where near and let it suck in a little then use my level as a guide and run a putty knife along it cutting off the excess leaving a perfect level straight top edge of flaunch its easier than trying to follow a pencil line and leaves an even sharper straighter finish 👍

Good idea with pointing up those creasings! I had 4 course of them yesterday before finished brick on edge and like you said getting the muck to dry on a damp day especially with tiles is a pain and an iron literally drags out the water and smears. Good shout from me in Essex .

i would have snapped the bottom tile in two and laid them ridged to the centre, this would create a natural drip away from the wall. The bottom tiles are concave when the good side is down, thus encouraging rain to run in towards the brickwork! exactly opposite of why you were installing rosemary's in the first place!
