A builder I know said to me a few years ago it’s fairly quick to learn how to lay a block and brick but knowing exactly where to lay them takes real skill and a long time! I think you proved that point in this video Stu! Top class work mate and what a fantastic team you have with you👍👍👍

Good lads! Use a short length of battern to brace your level when you plumb down. And don't be afraid to lay against a length of 4x2 on your bottom course bed joint,it keeps the pug underneath when the concrete's wet. Keep up the good work.( And don't answer back)

In Ireland we do 13inch work,especially like a extension like that, is 4inch block secure enough to carry a bungalow?we do 13inch on extension or small house,and most of time 18,depends on the depth
@harrylineker6770
@harrylineker6770 3 жыл бұрын
Stu, I’ve just had an extension finished off, 2 stories with a balcony. The mortar on the ground floor is so weak it can be scraped out by dragging a screwdriver across. The mortar on the 1st floor is a bit better but will be rendered so not as worried. Would you recommend grinding out and repointing?
