You should do what lego does. Glue a plate on the drawer and just put parts on it then you know exactly what parts are in which drawer.

hi bricksie, i think that you could mark your brick drawers that are under the city by marking them and make a file on your laptop that says the amount and color of the bricks etc. Gotta love the twins they are extremely adorable. But great update on the haul!

I’ve been waiting for so long for you move the drawers to under the city. I would definitely continue them along the entire face and add curtains to your entrances. It’ll really polish the look.

Hey I know those post legs for the Lego city bother you because they are wood. Go look at post wraps when you go to the store next time. They wrap around the posts and make a very clean look. They are made out of pvc. Kleer lumber has a really good one

Why wouldn’t you build a small hill up towards the pillar now you have those one-by-one cheese slopes as well? That way you would put a bit of hill up front and center in your city, which will make the rest of the city even more integrated into the landscape you made to the left and with the raised platform. Besides, it would integrate the pillar more as well maybe, just raising up from that hill all the way up to the ceiling as a sort of weird building.
@joshuabrickman1641 Жыл бұрын

I actually like that the drawers are behind the legs of the table, it looks intentional. Maybe you could paint the legs white so they blend in? Also for the drawers, it might be worth getting cutlery sorting baskets for them?

Wish the PaB wall at my local store had some of those parts (are those neon yellow plates in the bin next to the large trans-clear panels?) but the selection we get in Australia seems to be much crappier than what they get in the US or Europe.

I would love to see a series of videos where you make dynamic video shorts with voice over (VO). You would pick a Lego scene from your city and act out the story you imagined/created. The video shorts can be stationary characters and only the camera shots would move. Ex. rotating shots, close ups, zoom ins and outs. I think it would be fun. Everyone including your assistant can do the VO. The twin's baby talk can be incorporated into a character(s) as well. The stories could be told through the eyes of dedicated Bricksie and family minifigures. I know it would be a lot of work, but it could give your videos potential unlimited watchability. Just a thought.
