Blakes are the simplest of things to put up . I struggle to believe that brickies set out footings and build houses , extensions and factory units and struggle with Blakes . I think it speaks volumes about todays 'Line Monkey's' . 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Why do people care so much what others can do ??I couldn’t give a flying if a guy says he’s a bricklayer and he can’t set up profiles or build a arch why get so worked up? all you got to worry about is yourself I read bricklayers comments and laugh at them massive small man syndrome going on with most of it !

good vid , iv worked for builders who tell you just pull off the existing and keep courses , they just assume both corners are gauged the same , find out when the front of the new brickwork is run in

Best value boots I have found that last are the dewalt titanium. I get at least 9 months out of them and if I manage to keep the lime from rotting the stitching I have had them last 18 months, they're really comfortable out of the box too 👍🏻

Top video Andy i have been putting the ties in with the triangle to the left as you do for the last 25 years after a discussion with a clerk of the works. What is the range of your laser am thinking of getting one.

Visually not that far in daylight but with the receiver I think it goes to 50m, if I bought one now I would go for the green beam it's just easier to see.

Set your wall starter 15mm in. You can use your line pin behind the wall starter as a line profile instead of racking back

I've shown that on another video, prefer to put the line on a finger trowel it slides behind the wall starter better than a pin.

Shop about get them for £130,s. These boots are great. First pair a had took a good week to break in since they been brilliant when get pair feet must used normally lasts 8 months probs last longer if dried them out etc when in and concrete cement and all sorts proper good gortex boot with top ankle protection.

Hello Andy I bought the Fitzbrick dori blocks for my Blake’s profiles, and found I had to adjust the top adjuster nut. Am I a fool?

Should never have to adjust the top nut,if it worked with the Blakes nylon line clip it should work with the Fitz.

Every tried thunderbolt or concrete screws. No Rawl plug. Drill drive done. Bosh! I use them for wallplates. Half the time

Well I've been doing it longer than you then,if you listened to the video I do it as I mostly work on my own, often with no labourer so dont want to stretch myself especially in Winter with loads of muck boards full up with gobbo when it starts pissing down and you have to clear that lot up on your own.Each to there own but as long as you are laying bricks you are earning money, time spent clearing up costs you money.
