Jon & Sansa’s reunion was the best one for me!! I still always cry when I see it. You can see in her face how she literally feels safe in his arms. Imo the fact that they didn’t get along before makes it better. Like she was a whole brat before & belittled Jon but yet she recognizes how she’s safe with him. 🖤

One of the things that always gets me about this episode is that Kit (Jon) and Sophie (Sansa) _literally_ haven't filmed together since they were kids in S1. Like the actors, literally, haven't filmed any scenes together _in years,_ despite being siblings on one of the biggest shows ever. Like, of course they've hung out and done promo together and stuff, but they've all been on their own crazy storylines with completely different schedules and locations! FOR YEARS! That symbolic reunion makes it so much more emotional for me. They were innocent kids last time 😭

Awesome episode, and great reactions. I was enthralled for this entire episode. Sansa finally admitting she was mean to Jon when they were kids, and then sharing that horrid ale was such a precious moment. Tormund is definitely curious about Briene, lol. He's definitely onboard with going after Ramsay, especially once he realized if Ramsay wins, the wildlings are next. Side note: Gods, millipedes are so gross.

Martin did the same thing with Mellisandre's smoke baby assassins - the perfect unstoppable killers. There's just enough of them to push the plot past some tough points the author can't write around naturally but then they're taken away because reasons - other than Martin doesn't want Stannis to win.

So happy you guys are enjoying this season. It's my second favorite. I'm sure lots of people hate that, but what can I say? I saw the show first (started it at the penultimate episode of season 6, but then I had the long wait between seasons 6 & 7 then longer wait between 7&8. It gave me time to rewatch h the show though which was good since it had only 6 seasons at that point. You DEFINITELY benefit from a second watch!

Yeah another 2 that are pretty well known is the actor that plays Mance Rayder being Dumbledore's brother and Professor Slughorn's actor being Archmaester Ebrose (the dude that trains the other maesters at the citadel in season 7). The 2 big ones that not many know about is Aragog (the giant spider from HP) and Xenophilius Lovegood (Luna's father). The former was voiced by the same dude that plays Grand Maester Pycelle and the latter is played by the same guy that plays Otto Hightower in House of the Dragon.

Yeah, her hair is not fire proof. In fact, fans are not even sure Dani herself is fireproof either, the first fire she survived was a one off that she pulled in under very special circumstances. Some say her being able to do it at will was a choice from the showrunners.

@@generalmortars7557It's a choice that adds consistency. Hair that burns but not skin doesn't really make any more sense. Being fireproof only once is kind of a sloppy plot contrivance. There's no reason whatever incantations are needed could not have been said again. The Dosh Khaleen are shown in season 1 to be seers so it seems safe to assume they can conjure up whatever is needed. We have the dead khals to pay for Dany's life to satisfy the magical karma gods.

It's surprising how many people misunderstand this. At the beginning of the season, we see The Sons of the Harpy burn all of Dany's ships. Without ships or dragons, Meereen is completely vulnerable to a sea bombardment. The Masters come to deal with Dany but seeing that she's not there after their assassination attempt, they understand their advantage. So Tyrion immediately starts making concessions to them, hoping to stall.

Seriously though, from just even basic studies done lower “eye que” populations are often due to starvation and lacking essential nutrients, especially for the brain, and especially at young ages. Studies show that even within a generation or two of having essential nutrients “eye ques” rise significantly Robin should have been on proper solid foods far earlier than he was. Lack of brain fuel combined with loony toons mom was not a great mix. Best thing to happen to him probably was getting away from her. Sansa brings it up, but she never treated him like family, and he was always the "outcast" to her. But after all this, she finally has a family member again, and it has to have weight to him for her to look upon him as her brother after all these years. 26:19-26:22 "She's fireproof but don't you think she'd die from smoke inhalation?" She survived being *in* Drogo's funeral pyre, and that burned from late night into daylight. I don't think that fire, nor it's side effects have any ability to affect her. 26:50-27:00 Her clothes are never fireproof "But how is her hair fireproof?" Did her clothes grow from her body? Are clothes a part of the person? No. Does her hair grow from her body? Yes. Mystery solved.
