Am i able to send dprs while im staying on an analog repeater channel (for example: my local analog repeater channel)

I can't transfer aprs from anytone 878 to yaesu ft2d, from yaesu to anytone aprs is transferred without problems, what could be the problem, what settings are needed?

Is it at all possible to do this simply using the radio? It displays it to you as if it can. I only have Mac devices and the CPS is unavailable for anything expect Windows OS.

You can program the front panel from the radio, but some settings can only be changed in the CPS.

If you wanted to do aprs on a different frequency would you do this for that frequency also? Or would you just need to put in the alternate frequency in the Transmission Frequency 2? And if aprs is enabled is it only going to run while on 390 or the alternative or will it run in the background all the time?

I'd like to use the fixed location beacon (ie 51.00000, -1.80000) but the CPS won't allow me to enter the minus sign...

Do you have any control if the automatic periodic APRS transmission is digital or analog? Except only setting digital or only setting analog channels. If you set more than one analog frequency, will it transmit only on one or on all? What does "PASS ALL" do in the Analog section?
