Sounds like these are shaping up to be excellent malts. I can see that decent dents have been made in both bottles! 😊 Macaloney's does have a KZbin channel, where Graeme talks a bit about their processes. Helps to understand their direction choices. I agree having lived on the island just south of shelter point, I always find macaloney's to have heavy casking and Ryan seems to double down with his love of heavy oak in his single barrel picks

I have tried only 4 different Canadian single malts, not a fan at all unfortunately. The one that had been aged 12 years was so overpriced when compared to Scottish distillery offerings that were far superior. I feel Canadian single malt distillers have such a far way to go but I do wish them all the best. Let’s go Canada. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Cheers.

That's unfortunate. There have been several very young Canadian malts i've had that i thought they seriously over charged. I am happy that there are at least a few distilleries now putting out excellent malts. Hopefully they will be more broadly available and affordable. Cheers!
