Okay so I know it's just a brief thing where Pen pulls the green hair comb off and throws it onto the ground before she leaves the ball and we don't SEE Colin pick it up but at some point later in this season after they've been through absolute hell together I need him to reach into his pocket or a hiding spot in the back of his journal and reveal that he's found it and kept it this entire time because it was hers and so it was precious to him even if it was just a silly bit of sparkles and feather. I WANT TO BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED OUT OF FRAME.
