BRIDGERTON Room Makeover!

Full steam ahead Captain Jo! :D I have finished my Bridgerton office remodel and it feel so nice! I have another video coming soon letting you know everything else I've been up to, and I cannot wait to share :)
I really like the elegant style in Bridgerton, and I wanted to incorporate some of those themes into my art studio room. I decided to go for an "inspired by" approach, to make sure that the space still felt like me. Bridgerton has lots of blues, purples, greens, and yellow tones. I picked the shades on those spectrums that I most associated with myself for the walls.
I also kept the space fairly open and empty, everything has a place in the cabinet, and can be put away. Even my paint trolley has a spot to go back to.
As an artist, I realised that I work best in a clean open space, and that to be the most productive I can be with my work, I needed to create an office area that reflected that.
On that side of things I'm probably pulling more inspiration from Japanese rooms and lifestyles, but what is life if not a mix of the things you love?

I love how cute the room turned out! The canvas frames on the wall are absolutely genius, I love it! And I adore your orca vest!!!! Ideally, you’d want to remove tape before the paint has fully dried. Not when it’s still _wet_ but before it’s fully dried. A lot of the time the paint can dry and form a ‘skin’ that goes from wall to tape, and pulling the tape can remove peels of the paint along the tape line. I’m impressed that didn’t happen to you!

I just learned this the hard way. So the next time I painted, I did just that, removed the tape before it fully dried over and it worked.

Aww Jamie! It’s so lovely! And, I’m a big fan of the color. Blue is just soothing and calming. I will admit tho that I kind of wish you added white (or the same shade that’s the bottom blue) silhouette paintings on the wall in the canvases. But still, it’s still so pretty.

The plus sized with thsoe frames on the wall is you can always toss some prints in there and change them out whenever you want, so maybe seasonal or just what you like at the moment!

Some do but most don’t unfortunately! The older built homes generally don’t have built in wardrobes/cupboards but newer built homes generally do
