Pen isn’t jealous of any of the bridgertons for looks. She got along well with everyone in the family since she became friends with Eloise as children. She envied their loving family and their bond with each other. So she loves being part of their family.

Penelope is trying to get over Colin by looking at other men. Colin is just realizing that he doesn’t just see her as a friend. They are very subtle points where he was pining.

To be honest season one Colin and Penelope is important to see to help show their friendship and how his sweetness got broken down from hurt and betrayal. Pen has always loved him and I believe that he has always felt more than friendship but was blind to it. I agree about Benedict. I feel bad for the actor because I love him and think he does a good job with what they give him. He needs to be the season 4 lead. The show is basically about the marriage mart and gossip as others have said. I appreciate watching people watch the show that aren’t just gaga for it. ;-)

I agree with everything you said. I appreciate you watching. 🥰 I can’t wait for part 2. I think Benedict season is next. There were so many characters that the show focused on I wish we had more time with the Pen and Colin. I think because he is a writer we should have had his inner monologue from his journal entries as he wants to be a writer.
